The projects of cooperation and development are currently carried out in India, Benin, Bosnia and Brazil.
The intervention areas are:
Health
To make possible health assistance both through the construction, renovation and organization of hospitals and doctor’s offices and by guaranteeing the availability of treatments to those who have no other way to receive them. To activate transfer of technical competencies by Italian health operators in order to train the staff of our local partners.
Education
To build edicational facilities in rural areas far from the urban centres, to guarantee the possibility to study to those children who would not be able to go to school due to the poverty of their families.
Through the Project of Long Distance Adoption, besides guaranteeing education, a nutrition project was begun, which fills the serious alimentary deficinecies in the diet of the children and which includes nutritional education activities for their families.
Professional Traning
To improve the living conditions of the children and the families who are very poor, by providing the possibility of a professional job. To start training activities for local NGOs which are interested in the development of the local community.
Microcredit
To lend money to the women whom the traditional banks reject, to make them able to undertake new work activities and to improve the quality of life of their family. Income generation and awareness raising allow to favour social relations and to fight the big problems of violence and unemployment.
To guarantee that the interventions coincide with the real needs of the beneficiary populations, to trigger processes of participatory development trough the direct involvement of local people, out of respect and valuing their cultures, the projects are carried out in partnership with associations of the beneficiary Countries of the projects:
